Improving Financial Literacy, Getting a Solid Start

Purpose

The Wokwicz Foundation is a Not-for-Profit Organization which exists to improve financial literacy in area youth through community engagement . You are never too young to learn how money works. Making smart decisions about money and getting excited about possibilities are benefits of understanding money. We help youth make better choices by sharing knowledge of money, initially though education of elementary age kids. In fact, according to some researchers, money habits start to develop by the age of 7. That’s why it’s so important to pay attention to these financial literacy statistics for kids and teens.

Planning

At the Wokwicz Foundation, we are eagerly putting together innovative ways to engage and educate youths in the world of money. Increasing financial literacy can be fun and intriguing using investment games to educate about stock markets and running a mock business to explore investment strategies and budgeting.

Money can create opportunities and, for the young, understanding how money works can motivate financial responsibility. Financial literacy early in life creates a solid start. We believe learning should be fun and engaging. The Foundation will use parties and games to creatively motivate kids to get excited about their financial future.
